To activate the Kobe Powertrain Warranty on your vehicle, we request to register your vehicle using our first free service coupon at our authorized service center within 30 days of registering your vehicle. Here after all services need to be maintained and serviced by our authorized service center to keep the warranty active.

The validity period of the ‘KOBE POWERTRAIN WARRANTY’ is limited to two (2) years or 100,000KM (hundred thousand) whichever occurs first. (Engine & Gearbox)

The warranty coverage of the ‘KOBE POWERTRAIN WARRANTY’ is limited to repair or replacement of part acknowledged to be defective, at the sole discretion of us or our authorized service center.

The ‘KOBE POWERTRAIN WARRANTY’ will only cover the major technical defects of the engine and transmission system of your vehicle , which is subjected to the following terms and conditions.

This warranty excludes the cover of the following items in the engine and transmission:

  • Gaskets

  • Engine-Oil Seals

  • Injector Nozzles

  • Filters

  • Alternator

  • Lubricants

  • Parts of Rubber and Plastics

  • Antifreeze Fluid and other Oil Materials

  • Clutch and Dual Clutch

  • Electrical Parts & Sensors

Damaged caused by traffic accidents, insufficient or improper maintenance, misuse, of the vehicle under unusual conditions such as in motor races or rallies, and modification to the vehicles is not covered under this warranty.

Damage caused by extend influences such as chemical pollution, acid rain, sand, salt, stones, road hazards, floods, fire or disasters whether due to human fault, negligence or act of god, are not covered under this warranty.

The warranty mileage will be based on the odometer reading. If the odometer is damaged or broken remaining warranty will be calculated according to time (200km per day).

In case of vehicle break-down towing charges will apply and the vehicle have to be delivered to the authorized service center with prior appointment.

3 YEAR HYBRID BATTERY WARRANTY

An exclusive warranty coverage on your hybrid battery will be effective from Date of registration of your vehicle to a period of three (3) years or up to hundred thousand (100,000) kms, which ever first.

A hybrid battery will be replaced only once under the following conditions:

For manufacturers defects only

The battery should NOT be re-charged, opened, removed, tampered and by means it should be untouched.

External damages caused by traffic accidents, insufficient or improper maintenance, misuse, use of the vehicle under unusual conditions such as in motor races or rallies, and modifications to the vehicles causing the battery or the protected cover to result in leakages or the influx of external substance will deem the warranty period with immediate effect.

Any issues pertaining to the hybrid battery should be immediately contacted to our customer service center or to our appointed service agent.

Your First service should be done within 1000km or
within 30 days (1 month) from your date of registration of your vehicle

Each Free Service coupon is valid only during Engine oil & oil filter change services. Free service coupons are not valid to be used during an intermediary service.

KOBE POWERTRAIN WARRANTY INCLUDES
Each service includes:

  • Removing of wheels and washing under carriage.
  • Exterior body wash waxing
  • Interior vacuum and cleaning.
  • Protective care would be applied on door beading, battery terminals, and plastic items.
  • Special windscreen and headlamp treatment with polishing.
  • Change or clean oil filter, fuel filter, air filter, A/C filter if required”.
  • Check axel boot, break pad & disc pad for any damages.
  • Top-up or change manual or auto transmission oil, break oil, power steering oil and radiant coolant if necessary”.
  • Oil and filters should be purchased from authorized service centers. third-party or outside purchased motor oil would not be accepted
