🔧 Activation Requirements
To activate your Kobe Powertrain Warranty, register your vehicle the link provided on your warranty card or call our call center +94 75 535 2706 at within 30 days of registering your vehicle.
All future services must be performed at our authorized service center to maintain warranty validity.
📅 Validity Period
Engine & Gearbox
- 2 years
- 100,000 KM (whichever comes first)
Hybrid Battery Warranty
- 3 years
- 100,000 KM (whichever comes first)
🛡️ Warranty Coverage
The warranty coverage of the ‘KOBE POWERTRAIN WARRANTY’ is limited to repair or replacement of part acknowledged to be defective, at the sole discretion of us or our authorized service center.
🔍 Coverage Scope
The ‘KOBE POWERTRAIN WARRANTY’ will only cover major technical defects of the engine and transmission system of your vehicle, which is subjected to the following terms and conditions

- Gaskets
- Engine-Oil Seals
- Injector Nozzles Filters
- Alternator
- Lubricants
- Electrical Parts & Sensors
- Parts of Rubber and Plastics
- Antifreeze Fluid and other Oil Materials
- Clutch and Dual Clutch
⚠️ Additional Limitations
Damage caused by traffic accidents, insufficient or improper maintenance, misuse of the vehicle under unusual conditions such as in motor races or rallies, and modification to the vehicles is not covered under this warranty.
Damage caused by extended influences such as chemical pollution, acid rain, sand, salt, stones, road hazards, floods, fire, or disasters—whether due to human fault, negligence, or act of God—are not covered under this warranty.
The warranty mileage will be based on the odometer reading. If the odometer is damaged or broken, remaining warranty will be calculated according to time (200km per day).
In case of vehicle break-down, towing charges will apply and the vehicle has to be delivered to the authorized service center with prior appointment.
